Developed in collaboration with employers, T Levels are ideal if you have finished your GCSEs and want the knowledge and experience to get into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education.

You'll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.

    Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above in Higher Maths, two GCSE Science subjects at grade 4 or above, GCSE English Language at grade 4 or above plus one other GCSE at grade 4 or above.

    Internal progression - BTEC level 2 Diploma in Engineering (Merit) with 4 and above in GCSE Maths and English

    The assessment consists of:

    • Two written examinations
    • One employer set project covering core engineering skills
    • One occupational qualification
